Promote technological industrialization in the business hosting areas
The business Centre develops activities focusing on the industrialization of Campus projects, knowledge transfer to the market and the establishment of new industrial projects in business hosting areas in rural and inner regions, with particular focus on the valorisation of natural and local resources, promoting Industrial Ecology.
CECOLAB - Collaborative Laboratory Towards Circular Economy, is a private, non-profit institution, based in Oliveira do Hospital in the Centre region of Portugal. Founded in 2020, the Association began its activities in February 2020, having CoLAB, the process of recognition of excellence of the national initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Higher Education in its genesis. The initiative thus intended to contribute to the creation of qualified scientific employment oriented towards research and innovation with the creation of environmental, economic and social value. Recognized as a scientific and research infrastructure of national strategic interest, for the coordination of the National Network on Circular Economy, the CECOLAB Association is part of the National Roadmap of Research Infrastructures of National Strategic Interest - Order No. 4157/2019.
